Parent-infant counselling

The transition to parenthood can feel like an emotional rollercoaster. Sometimes parents might find themselves experiencing emotional distress following pregnancy or birth. Feelings of low mood, anxiety, overwhelm, guilt, or shame are common, particularly after a difficult or traumatic birth, and can make it harder to feel settled and confident in the parenting role.

What does this involve?

What to expect?

I offer gentle, thoughtful support for parents in the early years—including around birth, bonding, and the emotional shifts of caring for a baby. Whether you're clear on what you need or simply unsure but feel something isn't quite right, there's space here for you. My approach is grounded in Winnicott’s idea of being ‘good enough.’ The sessions are £80.
